Running a dual melee setup, although technically druid is not since I'm not level 10 (team is Retadin+Kitty).

I've been playing around with layout editor, and figured out how to get the PiP effect,currently using avoid taskbar. I would like to learn how to achieve a full-screen-windowed single display with swapping. Can I do this and then swap with a hotkey ?

That is escaping me. The only time I need to "see" the druid driving is when I swap to select a specific quest reward. I'd like him to follow closer, but that is a separate issue.
