I believe it is the same technology used in this video.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3yqr...eature=related

    In short, you need

    1) a graphic card with multiple outputs
    2) a big screen, curved or not
    3) a software to adjust the pixels intensity at the overlapped screen areas. may need to warp the image if screen geometry is not flat
    4) a camera to calibrate the system to achieve the needs of step 3
    5) ofc projectors, preferably the newer ones with longer life span

If u can handle step 3 and 4, which can be purchased off-the-shelf, u can probably DIY a huge video wall, or huge screen solution using rear projection. Definitely an interesting project.

For OP's system, the system depth is only 60cm.

    Right, OP?

We're using Pixelwix' Pixelwarp software for the blending.

    Heh, wow.

I 5 box on a 70" screen (3d, too, but it kind of sucks). I sit on my couch which is about 6 or 7 feet away. I used to do the same with a 48"... big difference with the 70". No straining to see anymore

Oooh I never really thought of trying to use my 65" TV to do that. How do you fit 5 accounts on that low of resolution though?

The TV is a 1920x1080 resolution. ISBoxer is setup to have the main window at 1440x1080 and the five slots on the right hand side (one will always be empty for whoever is the main) are 480x216.

You could also go with fullscreen-stacked.
With every window, at the full size of the monitor.

And then, assuming aero is enabled, you could use video feeds to display relevant information.

Jamba would still forward chat to the active window.
And you can still insta-swap between accounts too.
