Double-check TRIM enabled in Win7 for your SSD

Just got this in an email:

"How do I know if TRIM commands are working in Windows 7 on my Solid State Disk?

In an elevated command Prompt (IE – run as administrator), type the following:

fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

Results:
DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)"

Is there any way you can tell if that is enabled for all of your SSD's, or just your main drive?

I have an SSD for the operating system and frequently used files...
Plus another, for the gaming folder.

It's not a per SSD thing, it's a "is it enabled in Windows?" thing. If it's enabled in Windows it is enabled for all SSDs.

I have two SSD's (OCZ Vertex 3 120GB) striped (Raid 0).
The above command comes back 0.

Does that mean TRIM is working on my Raid 0?
Or that it is enabled in windows, but windows cannot use TRIM on a Raid?

This only applies to RAID 0, meant to quote the guy asking above but for some reason i jacked it up somehow, lol

Basically, you have to have a 7 series board or newer, and Intels RST drivers version 11.2 or newer. TRIM will never work on anything older, as far as "on-board" raid controllers go. If you have a "real" raid controller you should be all good, i know that most of the LSI, Adaptec, Highpoint, and even some of the intel cards will send trim thru but they aren't cheap, depends on what your main goal for the system is.
