Maybe I'll get every class x 5 to 80 for maximum versatility. I assume there is no limit to how many toons you can boost & grant levels to?

Wondering if it's worth paying another $35 to move my 80 alliance pally to Magtheridon, or just start fresh with all 5? I think 4 new accounts + xpacs is $200ish?

Man, this is a pricey hobby!

    If you're boosting...
And you'd be able to boost very well with an already 80, and somewhat (maybe very) geared toon, at least to the upper 70's...
You could also run the Pally through Cata content to be 84/85 in quest stuff, before RAF, which would make WotLK 80's dungeons quite easy to boost in.

    I'd transfer the one toon.
I actually did faction change + server change, on five toons... which sucked for the costs, but the Magtheridon guys are great and I'm having lots of fun there.

    A (Pally) > B > C
    A (Pally) > D > E

    Boost four toons on BCDE.
    End up with:

A: 1x Booster +4 Granted (2 from B & 2 from D) +2 Additional Granted (Because B/D each were granted two, letting them grant one more each).
    B: 4x Boosted +2 Granted (From C)
    C: 4x Boosted
    D: 4x Boosted +2 Granted (From E)
    E: 4x Boosted

    That's:
A = 6 new toons (and the Pally)
    B/D = 6 new toons
    C/E = 4 new toons

A toon leveled from 1st to 80th, with RAF can grant 39 levels (not 40, for some reason)...
So each pair of toons, can grant 78 levels between them.
So the toons who are receiving granted levels, would be leveled to 2nd... and be as close as possible to 3rd.
So after gaining 78 additional levels, they're 80th and very close to 81st.

Appreciate the advice Ualaa. Already started in the last few hours. Cancelled 4 accounts, have 4 new RaF ones. Started 5 druids and 5 paladins(Beefyone, Sandyone) in the Protoss guild for now. Yes, the RaF bonus is surreal.

    Very happy camper right now

Edit: Decided to wait on the paladin for now, since it's $55 to transfer him(alliance), and he's only 80. It's going well enough without him I'd say

First team: Pali tank, 3 x ele shamans, 1 x restro shaman.
Second team: 5 x mages (so I have access to ports from any toon)
Before I stopped (and now have resumed) boxing, this was my goal - to have as much flexibility as possible. But oy gevalt, leveling a team just really takes it out of me, and by the time I was ready to level again, RAF would run out.

    Leveling without RAF sucks immensely.

Late WotLK, I leveled 4x Druids (well 5x) to join my existing druid.
    And that was without RAF.
The composition (leveling as Feral) was quite fun so I basically played them all the way through.

    This expansion... late Cataclysm...
I am in the process of leveling 5x Paladins to 80th.
At which point, one will drop and a DK will join them.
I envision 4x Rets + 1x Frost DK (AoE DeathGrip & Purge away bubbles/iceblocks) as the main spec.
But going with an off-spec of 4x Holy and 1x Blood (because many are stupid and will target the lead toon, plus this will allow for easier taking out the opposing General in AV/IoC).
    Leveling without RAF blows...

    I've got baby Warlocks...
    4x Warlock, 1x Priest...
    At the low 20's.
But that's another team, without RAF.
Maybe towards the end of MoP.

The part I hate is getting to 15 to begin doing dungeons - I actually don't mind running dungeons too much just because each run is a level until around 25-30, and by that level you start getting new toys with most classes. I at least have 20% xp gain, and might just go crazy farming for the shoulders and chests I don't have, just so everyone gains 45% xp, but that means not boxing my team up for a bit. Bleh - I wish early dungeons gave a handful of JP!

I'd say do it. Your new team will gain a little rested and it will break up the monotony of leveling.

Yeah, I'm mixing it up - boxing the druid/mage/priest replacements a little, then doing a few heroics on my well geared tank, then my 5x team, and round and round it goes.

Im changing server and faction and i want to box again and im thinking of buying new accounts so i can RAF up again. im just not sure if i should buy 4 and have them on a 2 different battle.net ID's or just buy 5 sets and raf 5 on The new battle.net ID (probably transferring over a booster).

Will the New sharing of Battle.net mounts and etc be worth the added pain of starting from scratch? or 5 sepperate Battle.nets?

There is no real advantage of separate B.Nets anymore.
Back when one authenticator could be attached to all five B.Nets, for a single code and everyone was/is in... that was worthwhile.

Now, with a max of one B.Net for an authenticator, that advantage is gone.
I believe you can have a max of eight Wows on one B.Net.
You can also call Billing and get them to move accounts onto and off of a given B.Net; if the person says they cannot do that, call again... as some will do that service for you.

I wouldn't go with a second B.Net, until I had more than eight active accounts running together.
    But it's up to you.

oh ok, i didn't realize that they could take an account off your battle.net. Ok that helps so if i can get 2 accounts removed off my original battle.net then ill be able to fit the new 4. (its caped at 8 wow accounts right? not including PTR and Beta?)
