Thread: New to keyclone

    Default New to keyclone

    Hi all.
Seem to have this up and running now. I think. I have 3 pc's 2 desktops and a laptop. Running seperate wow bc accounts on each machine and seperate keyclone accounts on each machine. Each pc has its own wow and its own keyclone. Fired up the toons. Sent invites from main to clones. Fired up keyclone. Used the connect feature on the main to connect to the clones. That whole add button and hover over the clone screen in the directions on the keyclone site never worked for me.?.
Anyway there all connected as far as I can tell. When the main jumps the clones jump. However I put a macro on both clones to follow the main and they face the main when the macro is activated but don't follow the main. They run in a strait line the way there faceing. Did I do something wrong? Used /follow Velkyn for the macro. It works when grouped up and not useing keyclone. Any help would be appreciated.

    Default

Hi Velkyn and welcome to the forums!

when you have a group and your clones are on follow.. you have to be aware of any situation where 'follow' might be broken. by this i mean, the clones stop following.

this can occur if you accidentally pass a movement key to the clones... which will case follow to drop. to avoid this, go into the do-not-pass list (keyclone/setup/do-not-pass) and add your movement keys (WASD) to the list. you should also add the shift and control plus movement keys (shift+WASD and ctrl+WASD) as they can also be used to move a character.. and drop follow. i also add my cruise control key (NUMLOCK by default) so my clones don't get stuck on cruise control.

let me know if that helps. if you have any more questions, please feel free to drop me a note.
