Friday, had the day off of work, because it is a stat holiday in Canada.
I ended up with the Rath Strat guys for 17 hours of play.

There were between one and four full raids of people interested in Rath Strat.
Probably an average of three rooms/raids for most of the day.

We all queue at once, because the raid leader hits queue and everyone attempts to do the same when he does his.
Checking to see at least 32 of our 40 had their AV pop at the same time...
And if not, the leader hits leave queue.
And everyone else has to manually press that too.
Once they've all done that, or if someone is too slow... we re-queue without them, meaning they're not in the next AV to pop... if it is "good".

Quite frequently, you wait 1-2 minutes before queues start to pop.
On average it was 45mins to an hour, before we got 32+ into what would appear to be the same AV.
The best we did was 38 of 40.
The worst was less than half of the raid in one, less than half the raid in another, and a few odd toons in a third; this with all the queues popping at about the same time.

In the three AV's in which my team was split, I AFK'd out of some portion.
And ran whatever number of toons were with my Healer.
That was three of the matches.

My healer ended up getting a total of eight games played, in 17 hours of queuing.
My DK's had between 5 and 7 games played.
Of those eight games, five were with the full team.

Of course because it was AV weekend, that made it a lot harder to get a full raid (or most of a raid) into the AV.
Too many people queuing at the same time.

You used to be able to see... everyone is in AV #32.
Now there is no visible BG number, so you "guess" when the queues work out.
Which means, 45-60 mins of queuing without taking a game...

On the flip side...
One of those eight games was against another premade, and we won with 40 resources to 0 remaining.
The other seven games were very one sided in our favor... usually ending with a score around 580 to 0.
In one AV, my DK's ranged from 22 (low) to 47 (high) killing blows, without a death on any member of my team... the alliance combined for 13 killing blows, and we had the mines so ended the game with 600 to 0.
haha good shit, shame about yoru queue times, but I'm guessing you don't have to wait as long for a "good" queue during times when it isn't AV weekend, how long would it be then? And yea, those days when it was numbered was good. Especially when there was no resource limit on AV and you could queue for a specific match (say, one your mate had been in for 2 hours and you wanted to go join him).

My best on AV weekend (all my matches were pugs) were when 15 of us decided to defend balinda (successfully) and backcapped the whole map. 15 min game, we won by killing Drek, 591 - 0, didn't get perfection because a rogue up in DB was just travelling between north and south bunker tagging them (don't get perfection if they are tagged, even if they haven't burned). This didn't bother me as there is no honour difference and I already have battlemaster so nubs stuffing up the achv makes no difference in my eyes.

I pretty much ALWAYS back capped and only lost 1 game the whole weekend, to the point where it got boring, and i loved it when it became a turtle grind somewhere on the map. Oh god I love chain lightning, I think I have said this before lol.

But yea, AV weekends = races for honour, and you generally win if you backcap 1-2 bunkers because they just don't expect you to play properly.
