Default Video efx window swapping question

When i run a team.. i normally only have the viewers on my main ( tank normally ) with a source for each alt. Now that i have a few teams of all the same class I would like to have the same layout no matter what toon I'm on. So a few questions....

    1. If i have the exact same set up on each slot ( 4 viewer windows ) does that eat up a lot of resources? If so...
    2. Is there a way to have the viewers only show on the active window? But when i swap to another toon, the viewers on that window become active and the others shut off?

    1) No, it should not. ISBoxer (in my experience) only displays VideoFX viewers on the active window unless you set the option to display them even when the window loses focus (can't recall the exact option name). An example of this is when using a dxNothing window to always display viewers. See this vid for an example of the VideoFX feeds on the main window disappearing when the other window(s) gets focus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFBfmk2yS2c
    2) See 1.

If you want more control over your Video FX I would suggest using Video FX Actions in ISBoxer. You can put these inside a mapped key (or keys) that get activated upon character switch.

I handle all creation/hiding/showing of Video FX this way rather than mucking about with multiple Video FX sets.

Really? I think that is a good idea and I should try that. My sets never seem to stay working properly.
