    Default My multiboxing test

Running around with the 2600, I did the following test on 6 Rogues in the Gurubashi arena on the US Public Test Realms.

My load goes up to 50% and my temps about 64-60c with the smaller noctua cooler(with just one fan on. I don't want any additional airflow going towards my RAM or the Graphics Card, only for about 4-5c difference).

I have ran 9 accounts on trial accounts before: 10 accounts just seems to be like a torture to my system. At least I remember hitting 100c load quite easily then and I prefer to have some room for my browser/livestreams and so forth.

I ran on higher temps before I reduced the framerate of my non-main windows. Setting it to 1 caused some problems before so I have now put it to the lowest possible setting after 1 from the configurations panel, so temperatures and load dropped a bit with no noticeable effect on my multiboxing performance.

All in all, it seems to me that a proper 10-multiboxing, with browser and stream open, and using free software such as the Octopus, seems unreachable to me at this time, at least without overclocking the 2600 wich is not possible without the K version.

Despite this, the non K 2600 still packs a punch, allowing you to 8-9 still quite as easily, and without the need to overclock anything and/or buy an expensive cooler.

I have absolutely no idea what you're saying, other than:
    - On a normal 2600, you did 6 rogues in the gurubashi arena
-cpu load is 50%, temps 64-60c (one fan on, because you don't care about bringing the temps down 4-5c, which...is pretty good) ***No mention of ambient/idle temp***
-You don't like 10 accounts, hit 100c temps.
-reduced framerates to increase performance. (What is the setting after 1? 2? on what scale?)
-You don't think you can 10 box on your machine.
    -2600 packs a punch.

    So.

    "The 2600 packs a punch."
Is that what you're trying to say?

I'm terrible at thinking, forgive me.

I apologize. I have been a little bit tired lately. I guess I wanted to share my own input and receive other peoples experiences of this processor. Don't you just miss the ability to delete your own threads? Haha.

I hit 69c earlier on full or 80%+ load wich seems to be normal for a cooler of my caliber. Probably unneccessary to mention, but still.

Im just saying that my expereince seems to indicate it's rather difficult to multibox more than 9 toon fluently with this processor without overclocking. Though I could be wrong as it's been a little while since I did that 10 boxing test. Would like to hear other non-OC people's experience about that(10 boxing). At least if running at around 50 FPS wich I did in my first 9/10 boxing test using trial accounts.

Yeh I figured it's probably capped at 5-10 frames, since at the middle of the bar it's set to 50 FPS as a standard for WoW. I have ran into problems previously when running at 1FPS but I might give it another try if I try 10 boxing in the future. (like when the world event PTR comes and we get more premades).

I would like to do a proper 8 boxing text with heavy PvP lag in the future @gurubashi but that seems nigh impossible until we get more premades. At least, that will be exciting.
