    Default system requirements?

hi, i just discovered multi-boxing in world of warcraft and got myself the trial of inner space and ISBoxer. it got me interested and it seems like a lot of fun once u get the hang of it.
now i was wondering, before i start spending cash on multiple accounts and a subscription to inner space, what system requirements i would need to be able to 5-box without getting frustrated with lagging and other discomforts due to lack of computer power?

my current system im using : intel core i5-2300 cpu 2.80 Ghz , 4 Gb ram , ati radeon HD 5700 series , windows 7 64 bit

hoping to get real boxing soon

    grts

    You can test it.

Open 5 WoW windows at once, log into one of them while the other 4 just sit there. If you're able to play without lag you can test further by signing up for 4 WoW trial accounts and try playing 5.

I doubt you can play more than 1. Your RAM is just really really low.

i just played 5 instances at a time... it does run slow doing around 20-24 fps but it does work ... think getting more ram memory will do just fine 5 boxing on my sytem

    Welcome to boxing!
Warcraft is a great game to box.

Windows 7 will support a lot of ram.
As JohnGabriel mentioned, you'll likely need more than 4GB if you want to four/five box.
I'd recommend 8GB for boxing; I have that, and with a lot of addons and other processes running, my system is fine.

I was using an i5 2500K, and that was definitely adequate for 5-boxing.
But when I started to stream, I noticed it was a little choppy.
Not sure where an i5-2300 sits in comparison.
Warcraft is a lot more CPU dependent than graphics related.

Not sure how strong of a card an HD 5700 is.
I've boxed warcraft in Cataclysm on a GTX 275, 1GB card.
When the card died, I upgraded to a GTX 570, which gives a bit more eye-candy.
Spell effects, Weather, Water, Shadows... are more graphic dependent, most other things are more CPU dependent especially view distance.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I believe you'll be able to run 2-3 instances on 4gig ram, and 5 on 8 gig ram easy.

well, i have played three at once without problems, havent tried more, will do later.

about the graphics card, it has 2798Mb...

so, maybe with just adding some RAM memory i'll be able to 5-box
