Wow, just wow, balance druid + enhance shammy in 2v2... 2x solar beam + 2x wolves, the amount of self healing from wolves is pretty nice and the dmg plus stuns they bring is also nice. That burst + aoe roots in aoe silence is going to be an incredible combination imo, providing those 2 specs arent gimped out their ass come release dmg wise.

I like this spell because it brings so many combinations and variety to the game, bravo blizzard, this will be fun imo.

(though some of the class swaps will basically never get used provided alternatives lol)

i think the silence on solar beam is down to 1 second though, right? so it's basically an interrupt now, not a winning root+solar combo like before.

Looks like we will be flying everywhere again. But epic flying mounts are faster than flight paths, even with this buff, so no point in having it. This still won't get people out in the world, it will just make them fly from the city to the raid when it is raid time. Oh, and locks will be more popular again

fight points are 300% the olny way i got them faster was with a pally that was following my own chars in wotlk zones. (when i was epic board) sometimes there just longer because they go the long way round

I think that's the point that Valkry was trying to make. If you wanted to go from SW to Black Rock Mountain, you'd fly from SW to IF, then to Thorium Point and then you get to fly from TP to BRM. That would take significantly longer than if you had just used your flying mount to go from SW to BRM.

Flight Paths take the scenic route.
Occasionally, because you have a nearby flight path, the route is even less efficient than it is for the character on your team that doesn't have the extra flight path point.

You also have the option of stopping prior to your destination.
Rather than getting there, and needing to back-track.

But Flight Paths are good too, in that you can AFK and get to your destination without issues.
Also, if you're on a PvE server or aren't in contested territory, taking a ride will remove your PvP flag.

No, I have flown behind someone on my 310% mount when they were on the flight path, and I followed all their little curves as well, I easily overtook them. Epic mounts are faster, period!

Did this while I was bored. Try it, get 1 char mounted, other on FP from goldshire to redridge mountains.

I can't update the original post with every new patch that Blizzard throws out there. I would hope that most people know where to go to get the information if they so desire. Even I haven't been paying much attention to the MoP beta patches because nothing is final until it's about to go live... and even then it's never final.
