Best toon to boost with

Hey folks,

Started 5 more accounts with RaF and just wondered what toon would be most effiecient to boost with? I have 85 Warrior, 84 Hunter, 83 Paladin, 80 Warlock, 80 Shaman, 80 Rogue, 80 DK... Last time I used my Paladin, would he still be quickest?

I'd say either the paladin or the DK.

Paladin if you are going to group them up and loot, Hunter if you are just going to run through killing as you go.

Until your toons get to a certain level, elemental shamans are by far the fastest boosters due to ghostwolf being usable indoors and superb AOE (chain lightning, earthquake and thunderstorm). A frost mage comes close but lacks the self healing. Once in the wotlk dungeons I prefer a prot paladin although a ret is quite efficient as well.

I'd have to say Ret paladin.
I've boosted about 40 chars to level 80 in the last 3 weeks or so.
Even in level 80 instances, like halls of lightning, I can pull 5-6 packs and just aoe them down with divine storm and seal of cleave. If anything hits the slaves they get healed by divine storm and I get instant healing aggro.
