New Comp for 5 boxing beginner

I was going to buy a new comp in the next year but recently decided to start five boxing with the new scroll of resurrection so am going to be buying one now. What would you guys recommend? I am looking to buy a prebuilt one or one from ibuypower or a site similar to that where you can still customize because I have never built a computer my self and I have heard it is easy but simply do not want the risk. Budget is probably $1000-1200 with dual identical monitors, 19" probably just to save money. As far as the capabilities go I would like to be able to atleast be able to record video while 5 boxing and maybe stream depending on how it affects the game (if it is possible to get that with this budget)

Get yourself an i7 2600K processor.

I have an Asus P8Z68-VPro motherboard, but just about any asus/gigabyte/evga motherboard with the correct socket would work.

You'll want at least 6-8GB of ram.
But ram is relatively cheap, so my recommendation would be 8-12GB depending on the sockets on your board.

A single video card is generally better than two cards in SLI/Crossfire, or two cards on one physical board.
I'm partial to Nvidia cards, but many like ATI cards too; mine is a GTX 570.

I'd get an SSD drive, for your gaming folder.
It doesn't have to be amazing (although if you plan on putting your OS on the SSD, then a better drive is recommended).
I'm using an OCZ Vertex 3, but many prefer an SSD with an Intel Controller.

I'm not sure exact pricing.
But do recommend an i7 based system.

Getting it from ibuypower and its on a special free rush deal they have limiting my choice. Is it worth upgrading it to a Asetek 550LC and is there anything you guys would say is complete overkill that could be downgraded with not huge affect to gameplay or anything that should definitely be upgraded?

Your i7 970 processor will likely five-box, but I'm not sure how smoothly with moderate graphics in a 40-man raid/bg or a crowded city...

It is a significant step down from an i5 2500K or i7 2600K system.
Both of which made play smooth again (going from an i7 920, which was not smooth in cities or 40-man BG's).
The i5 was fine for playing the game, but the i7 allowed for i5 level smoothness while also streaming my play.

And it is a safe bet, the level of game resources used will increase with MoP, which will be out relatively soon.

To see where it lies, in relation to other cards.

Crossfire/SLI, can be nice for many games.
But typically reduces your performance with Windowed/Windowed-Full-Screen games (which boxing uses).
If you can disable the Crossfire/SLI, because its two physical cards... and not a single card with two graphic cards on the one physical board, then that's not an issue.
From what others have said, 1GB of graphics lets/forces you to use Direct X9, but 1.25+GB of video ram will let you use DX 11.

If boxing is your primary use of this PC, I'll echo what Ualaa said on 2 points:
1) Get a 2600k instead of a 970. You really don't want to buy 2 year old technology.
2) Get a more powerful single video card, rather than 2 lesser cards. SLI/Crossfire will not help with boxing. Even if you were planning to have each card drive separate monitors, I believe you'll get better results from a single card hooked up to both monitors, especially if you're getting a more powerful card.

I'll agree that the technology is old but, the 970 is a 6 core processor (with Hyper-Threading) and should surpass any old 920 or 950/960 (with better stepping) for multiboxing. It's a tough call because when you lock yourself into a tight budget for a brand new computer and multiple monitors and expensive peripherals (like a $80 Razer Naga or a gaming keyboard) then your budget all of a sudden becomes much, much smaller.

This leaves you with "upgrading" to a system that uses a CPU that was released new in Q3 2010. The CPU is about to be four generations behind the times (1366, 1155, 2011, Ivy Bridge 1155) and I'll bet you're going to be feeling that age sooner than later.

Can you build a 2600K/2500K system for $1200? Yes.
Can you build a 2600K/2500K system with monitors and expensive peripherals for $1200? No.
Will a system builder site build a 2600K/2500K system for $1200 that's worth something? Probably not.
