Default Low FPS on a good computer?

    Hey guys,

so i decided to come back and try some multiboxing. I posted some time ago in the hardware forum asking if i could run a 4 box team on my current system:

    Intel Core i7-860 2.86GHz 8MB S-1156
    ASUS P7H55-M DDR3 mATX S-1156
    8GB DDR3 1333MHz Kingston (4x2GB)
    1024MB XFX ATI HD5850 725M DDR5 PCI-E
    1TB Samsung 7200rpm 32MB SATA2
    23 Samsung XL2370 5000000:1 LED (2ms)
    Windows 7, 64bit

People let me know, that it shouldn't be a problem.

Now i have gone and upgraded all my old TBC accounts and made 4 DK's but my FPS is just horrible. I am running it via isboxer (first time isboxer user) and i've followed the setup wizard. All instances of wow
is run from the same folder via isboxer and they are set to high in settings - but my computer is getting wrecked. I've set the FPS at 60/15. I drop below 10fps pretty much as soon as i go anywhere.

    Any idea's ?

First, try settings = low on alts, high on main.

If you're using DX11, you'll probably have to use DX9 instead.

I'll try and use dx9 and see how it goes. Ughmahedhurtz, is it possible to configure different settings when you run it via isboxer in one folder ?

ISBoxer virtualizes your config.wtf files if you used the wizard. All in-game video settings are saved per character.

EDIT: You can also try this - http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/4...Video-Settings

I like how you wrote that guide, it's super easy to understand.

I've got most of my quad dk setup running smoothly now. Still adding new keymaps as i go along, but i got the hang of it pretty fast once i had played around with isboxer for an hour or two. I have a question though, i'm using round-robin for deathgrip of course. Is there a way to prioritize the round-robin ? Like always try the master first, then go on to slave1, slave2,slave3 etc on each keypress ? I'd like this because my slaves are always a step or two behind my master and since my master gets in range to DG first it's hella annoying when my master doesn't want to dg on the first press.

You can set the multi-step macro to reset to step 1 after xx seconds.
