If you have an existing account, with lots of toons...
Call the existing account (A), and the new accounts (B-X).
Link them A > B > C > D > Etc..
If you have an existing account, with few toons...
Or are transferring one toon to a boxing friendly server (ie, one with a lot of other boxers)...
You'd be better off with this kind of a chain:
A > B > C
A > D > E
That is actually two RAF chains, and results in a lot of granted levels to "A" (the boosting account), despite not actually leveling toons on A.
Dungeon boosting is going to be the fastest method to level.
Group everyone together, with the higher level.
Enter whatever dungeons and stay near zone in.
Kill a bunch of mobs with the booster, possibly pulling back almost to the lowbies.
Move the lowbies up as needed.
Rinse and repeat.
During RAF, level up as many combinations as you can stand.
Doesn't matter if your end goal is to use Shamans, Druids, Paladins, Hunters or none of the above.
Level a lot of classes to 80th (the RAF cap).
And use your granted levels.
You never know what you'll want to have at a later time.
And RAF leveling is so much faster now.
Plus even if you don't use a toon for a team now, you might next expansion.
And you can use them for tradeskill purposes too.
In short, level up (to 80th)... I'd say at least 4-5 groups, and ideally one of every class... if you can stand that much of a grind.
Melee will run via "Interact With Target" (the Keybinding) while "Click to Move" (the Interface Option) is enabled/on.
Everything else is essentially the same; you will have a form of assist and a castsequence or priority sequence.
Aside from CTM/IWT, on the melee toons, there isn't any difference in the mechanics of controlling the team.
Sure there is a difference in being in the mob/targets face, as opposed to being 30 yards back, especially in PvE.
But both melee and caster teams, or even teams that mix this mechanic... are very fun to have.
I'd say IS Boxer is stronger than anything else.
And it has a trial period, so you can test it out.
The support is phenomenal, between here (post with IS Boxer tag, in the Software forum or Support forum), the IS Boxer site (their forums) and the IRC (from the IS Boxer main page).

If you're comfortable with writing your own scripts, and don't mind that you don't have a graphical interface...
Hot Key Net can be a strong choice; Khatovar has a pretty good guide to it on her site (link in her signature).

Pwnboxer isn't a bad choice, and Tim does regularly update it.
But compared to either of these two, it isn't nearly as strong.
It is still one of the better options, out of the software choices.

The other boxing program, that seems to have most of the boxing in-demand features is Game Commander Pro.
I've never used it, so cannot really comment on it, but its' documentation is good.

There are other options:
Auto Hot Key - ???
Keyclone -

Octopus - ??
For my two cents, IS Boxer all the way.
