I'm hardware boxing two mages at the moment, and already finding myself running out of macro room.
I'm not very good at reaching a lot of keys (on solo characters I'm normally a clicker) so I went for having a macro for lots of spells with modifiers for various things (like using an item on one toon, but not another).
So I thought I'd go the addon route to try and maintain a managable set-up, got a couple of questions though for anyone who has used Trinity:
1. I've had a look and it seems that you can set bars up for different modifier keys, stupid question but does this mean I could have a bar with no modifier attached and fireball on the '5' button, then on my main a ctrl bar with poly on it and my alt has a ctrl bar with fireball on it (so if I hold down ctrl my alt keeps casting FB, but my main polys)?
2. I currently have the addon NumPad installed which lets me add keys for my numpad buttons (surprisingly enough given the name), can I a) leave it there and add trinity or b) uninstall and recreate it using trinity?
Edit: 3. My alt is currently running on a VERY slow laptop, is this addon likely to cause further latency issues or is it fairly non-resource intensive?
Thanks![]()
