A choke is set at the hill leading up to Icewing Bunker.

The alliance offense is broken at Galv.
And Tower Point & Iceblood Tower are taken back.
Along with anyone who ran ahead to the Frost Wolf Keep.

If its executed properly, the Horde take Stonehearth and Icewing Bunkers.
Which means an insurmountable resource lead, and a turtle type game.

The only 'rush' style win for the alliance that has a chance, is rushing to Drek.
That way they would have 90% of their force at Frostwolf Keep, and neither side would have a close graveyard.
Or the graveyards would eventually be alliance graveyards.

If the alliance were to play for a choke as well...
Or to do something other than a typical rush strat...
But in 99% of the games, that's exactly what they attempt -- and exactly what the Rath Strat counters amazingly well.

Interesting but I'm guessing it'd get old? For shaman boxers they're gonna get RSI hitting their chain lightning macros :P

Do they run any BGs other than AV? And what are their leaders like for the BGs? Is it similar to the drones that QQ has leading nowadays (read from the script and do the same thing over and over?)

I'll probably try a couple more times, since I know winning is much less frustrating than losing and premades win more. But simply from an honor farming point of view its not working out so well for me.
Keep in mind, the RathStrat AV's are NOT for honor farming, they are for fun farming, the mindless zerg that av has become is so boring, av and ioc are the only bg's i do, i prefer the big bg's over the little ones by a long shot, the whole point of the rathstrat is to bring PVP back to AV and make it fun, yea, the games are a lot longer, and you get a lot less honor per hour, but i guarandamntee that you'll never have as much fun in a honor farm zerg av, as we do in rathstrat, i love it, and i love the rage it generates WWW.RAGEWHISPERS.COM FEEL THE RAGE!!! (mindless rant)

have fun, and hope to see you in the group soon!!

No the leaders are pretty awesome people, they do not read from a script as the games aren't always the same, there are subtle differences between them as each game needs different things at different times, i find it quite enjoyable and really fun, not boring at all, it never gets boring having 400+ HK's in a single BG and the rage never gets old, and we ROFLstomped a QQ premade that we actually went against one game, if i remember correctly it was even 600 - 0 there was a youtube video of it, but i can't seem to find it at the moment.

So only AV? They queue for that with Preform?

And never run randoms or other BGs (other than IoC)?

as far as i know it's only av and ioc, it would be easier to get grps for the smaller bg's on your own, seems like it would be a lot of trouble to try and manage 50+ toons for a bunch of 15+ toon bg's
