Default Reentry after 2 Years. Which Tank is best ?

In my old Days it was always the Paladin. Has something changed ? Could maybe a Warrior or DK more usefull Things ?

Is your First Pick in these Days the Paladin ?

Hi snoopy. The best tanking class is still Paladin. here is a comparison chart You can make most tanking classes work as tanks but some classes like warrior or DK require alot more micro which in the long run may make your healing or dps suffer. The other thing you want to think about when you choose a tank is the Dungeon Finder and dual spec, system. Many Tanking classes can both tank, dps, and even heal. Some examples are that Druids dual spec to ranged DPS, and Pallys can dual spec to Healing.
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it"

If you're playing the tank, as the active toon, go with whatever tank you like the best.
Any of them can work, and work fairly well.

If you want a tank that requires less micromanagement and active control on your part, then Paladin > Druid > Others.
Easier to play, with less management of abilities does not mean inferior in any way.

If you don't otherwise have a Paladin/Druid on your team, Blessing of Kings / Mark of the Wild will both give you +Resists and +Stats, which is nice.
An Unholy DK gets you +Spell Power, but you can also get this from a Boomkin or Warlock.
The Warrior gets you a shout for extra health, the same as a Priest's Fortitude except that the Warrior shout is 2-3 minutes long so you refresh it a lot.

A Paladin and Death Knight start at full resources, so can Mana dump (Pally) or expend Runes (DK) for immediate threat.
Everyone except the Pally has a resource that they gain as they hit and are hit: Rage (Warrior/Druid) and Runic Power (DK); different styles of play, but not inherently better or worse than another.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I've leveled a warrior, DK, and a pali tank.

All can be used with a spamable macro, but you lose alot on the warrior and DK doing it that way. The Pali is your best choice.

It might change in the future, blizzard does that from expansion to expansion. So its true to just play whichever you like best.

    THANK YOU..

but now..i am not sure which Healer i choose...

Druid,Priest, shaman or Paladin ? I think now i take the Priest..but still think the Pala is best, but have already a Pala Tank in Group.

Nothing wrong with stacking classes. I use 2 paladins, which lets me have both Blessing of Kings and Blessing of Might, plus 2 different auras and 2 Lay On Hands.

But I don't personally like Holy Paladins for multiboxing. I'm simply not a fan of their mechanics or AOE healing. If I had to guess only in terms of popularity, I'd probably say Priest > Shaman > Druid > Paladin for multiboxers. As far as usefulness, they all have their pros and cons and for every person that says X is a horrible healer when multiboxing, you'll probably have a few people who swear they are the most awesomest uberest thing ever. So pick what you like. You can always level a replacement or swap specs among your team.

I had a nicely typed up opinion of each tank, but when I went to post it said the message was too short. fml.

And the circling is worth it,
    Finding beauty in the

    For Heals:
If you're team does both PvP and PvE, Paladins are much higher on the list.

They make exceptionally good PvP healers.
They're probably the hardest to kill...
And can put out very impressive single target healing, on whatever is being focused.

But they are probably the weakest (due to lack of mobility while healing and the least AoE healing power) for PvE play.
PvE, I'd go: Holy Priest = Disc Priest > Shaman/Druid > Paladin, but that is subjective opinion.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.
