I switch my toons onto a follow macro only when ascending the tower. The space is so tight in a tower (TP/IBT) that you don't need them to have them circle around something. I can see having to take SHB/IWB as more of a pain, as they are much more open. But i'd suggest having your follow macro when ascending then turn it off and put on your rotation setup
