    Default Trouble Targeting Target's Target

    Hi guys,

    New to ISboxer SWTOR and have a question. Spent many hours setting things up, watching vids, etc.

    However, I can't get acquire target's target to work right. I'm dual boxing. I have F10 set to target party member one and F8 to acquire target's target.

    I setup AssistMe keymap that has toon #2 press F10 to target party one then F8 to get the party one's target. When I hit "2" to activate it while in game, it will switch target to party member one and that's it. However, if I keep hitting "2" it will eventually make it to target's target (normally 3-4 tries).

    I've looked through other setups and don't see anyone doing anything special, so is this just a known bug/issue?

    Thanks!

    Well, "targets target" is a quite simple option in Isboxer. You didnt post your setup so I cant help you finding the mistake so I just try to explain how it works for me.

    While you have to use a keymap there are two ways of doing it. For me it works to just do a one (1) step keymap. Step one (1) send the key you need to press to target the group member you want to assist to your slave window (for me it simple is "F2" to target my group leader) and in the same step (still step 1 !) send the key to get targets target (for me its "#"). I had trouble using the premate "ctrl+t" so I switched to "#".

    If your setup uses 2 steps (not needed but you can do that) its a must you set your keymap to execute a step when hotkey is "pressed or released". Than just do it like written before.

    While you didnt post your setup I would guess you did it while using a 2 steps keymap and didnt set it to "pressed or release", right ?

    Hope I could help.

    Hi,

    It's one step, like this:

    AssistMe (hotkey : 2)

    Step 1 of 1
    F10 -> all other (note: tried all, just window 2, etc. Same results)
    F8 -> all other

    F10 is mapped in game to target team member 1 (my main)
    F8 is mapped to target's target.

    Just played for a couple hours and at no time did 1 click work.

    Same with heals. For example, I have:

    HealME (hotkey "3")

    Step 1 of 1
    F10 -> 2 (my healer's window targets party 1)
    F6 -> 2 (my healer's F6 casts big heal)

    When I hit "3", he will target me, but his heal often goes to last person he had targeted, so I have to click it twice to get the heal.

    in ISboxersuite... did you check the box "Make game believe it is foreground window" in your character sets ?

    If you didnt all F-keys will cause trouble.

    Was looking at the debugger and it says:

    "Hold F10+F8"
    then
    "Release F10+F8"

    Shouldn't this be: Hold F10, Release F10 then Hold F8, Release F8 ?
