Default What pets for dual boxing hunters?

Using RAF and dual boxing hunters is really fun. Right not Im only 32 but using a Wolf and Kitty for the buffs. Will that get me to 80 or should I think about switching pets at some point? Right now nothing really even lives long enough for the pets to get in more than a few hits. Also if I really like this combo might take them to 85 then I guess for duoing raids I will have to put more thought into my pets. Like maybe a spirit beast for heals and the other a turtle for tanking.

Any two pets will get you to 85.
And with the changes to pet leveling, a new pet will reach your level relatively quickly if you change your mind.
Plus you can easily have a lot of different pets, for various situations.

    The last I played Hunters...
Pets were either: Strong / Average / Weak, one each to three categories.
Or they were: Average to all three.
(Damage, Armor (vs Melee) or Health).

I went with "two" tank type pets on the team.
The Gorilla was the only pet to have an AoE attack, when I started the team, but I believe most have one now (Bear has one for sure).
And then three damage dealing pets.

And Hunters put out a lot of damage too.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Where you will desire different pets is when you start taking on the zone elites. Granted, they've nerfed most of them into the ground but there are a few where the alternate pets are helpful. Gorillas are also awesome for AoE aggro (or were when I last played one a year or so ago).

All tank pets can get thunderstomp at their 7th talent point, and once you have this all of them are good at aoe aggroholding.
