Searing Gorge -- Don't miss it!

I had run into some troubles finding quests to do, simply because Tanaris' high level quests were not that hard and you can do em at a really low level if you're 4 boxing. When I hit level 46 I had basically run out of good questing areas, then I hit up searing gorge and literally every quest was a kill X of some monster, or find this guy, bla bla. Do the key quest for searing gorge as well, its very easy and doesn't take long (kill the lizard in the southeast corner/cave, loot the horn it starts the quest chain). There's a few collection quests built in, and can be annoying but try to build em into your questing in this zone as you can rack up about 2 levels with not much effort at all. I got through 46 in about 2 hours played (the easy quests), and level 47 is looking to be about 3.5 hours /played (finishing the collections ect). I think that's pretty good for the level In addition, once you hit 47 you're safe going to AB or WSG and doing the daily pvp for some decent exp as well + honor (6k exp when I did the quest at 47 + 147 honor and 75s or something). Just some words from a frustrated leveler. Hopefully felwood proves to be a decent area, otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going to do until WPL and Burning Steppes.. maybe Un'Goro, but I remember some annoying collection quests there ;(

Awesome man, thanks for the reminder to all, a lot of people get frustrated at those levels.

Frustrated leveler? Dude, you've been at this like 2 weeks, lol.

Yeah Un'goro is the suck in my opinion but there are a few good kill quests there. Don't forget Felwood though, to me that was the best late 40's to early 50's place, tons of kill quests. After that book it to WPL, again kill kill kill!

Bascially 50 was like nervana to me, blew through 50-58 in no time.

If you can bare it I think it makes more sense to stay in the old world until 60, saving up those juicy outland quests until 60+. I don't remember exactly but I think after 2.3 the quest XP actually is slightly lower in Outland than those last quests in the old world, could be wrong though.

One other tip. If you're going to want the any of the faction rewards it's best to grind the instances until you hit honored, then all of your quests take you from honored on up. Otherwise you have to wait until you hit 68-70 and then just grind the top end instance for each like freaking mad (bleh, we've all done them plenty already). If you do all the quests and then go to the lower instances, you totally skip the honor hey provide.
