Default Eta levelling 4 characters to 85

I'm a pretty experienced wow player and wish 4 more shamans so I can raid more of the same class.

I'm wondering whether it's hard to do quests together by broadcasting the same keystroke across all acounts or whether dungeon levelling is quicker or both!

I'm also looking for and eta on how long it would take to get 4 characters up to 85. I know I could get 'how long is a peice of string' answers, but a range of ETA's would be lovely

    Thanks,

    Ekko

if it's your first time, you'll probably spend a fair amount learning and setting the multiboxing software of your choice.
Given that, levelling 4 toons together will always be quicker than levelling 4 toons separately, particularly if you use RAF and stuff.

I find the hardest part is usually getting the first levels to roll. By the time you're level 15 you should have a working system and then everything goes smoothly.
As for ETAs, it really depends how much you know the game already. Looking at your Sig it seems your highest level is level 80, which means perhaps no Cata experience. (levels80 to 85 being the longest bit of levelling)
I'd say that levelling 4 toons would take you about 1.5 to twice as long as levelling a toon solo or so.

Definitely go with Recruit a Friend.
Log into your account management page, on www.worldofwarcraft.com.
Send your own email an RAF invite.
Use the emailed code to create the account.
Then use a retail (purchased game) or digital upgrade, to upgrade the account you created with the emailed CD-Keys.

If you're on a new server.
And your existing account is "A".
    Go with:
    A > B > C
    A > D > E
As in, "A" sends out two RAF invites, and each of those sends out one more.
You can then use a high level on "A", to "boost" lower toons on BCDE.

If you have a lot of toons on "A".
And just want four new toons.
    Probably go with:
    A > B > C > D > E
As in, send the RAF invite from A.
Create the account (B), with the emailed code.
    Upgrade that account.
Then from that account's warcraft page, send out an RAF invite to yourself...

If you're doing RAF, get a lot of combinations.
People typically like to "box": Shamans, Paladins, Druids, Priests, Hunters, Mages, Warlocks, Death Knights.
Your DK's will start at 55th, so I would not worry about them initially.
More combinations is better than fewer, because it opens doors down the road.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

How did you do it from 1 - 80 in 1 day ? Did you follow a specific leveling guide?

I used Zygor's leveling guide, after I got to Level 15 I did nothing but dungeons, My four man team is Tank, 2 DPS and a healer (priest is by far the easiest) and just do dungeons.

I was getting 5 levels per dungeon when I turned in quests. I do have BoA's though so if you don't it may take a little longer.

The easy way to do this, get your team to 15, then run them through instances nonstop. I followed the A>B>C>D>E path since I already had one account with one of everything. If you have access to "Have Group Will Travel" it makes getting to the instance even easier.

I ran my DK team to 80 this past weekend. I spent about 6 hours in outland running each instance only once (along with ring of blood), and about 8-12 hours give or take in Northrend following the same path. The only quests I did were in instances.

Ok with the raf thing im trying to figure out. You can only gift the account that sent u invite. So in otherwords if A invited B, B can gift levels to A but A cannot gift to B. So how would u go about it that all accounts can gift and be gifted. Ive been thinking about this but if u start a new 4 or even 5 there isnt a way is there. One account will be left out giving free levels.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

You can't. The account(s) at the end of the chain are always left out from getting free levels. If you want to create a full
team through granted levels you need shift characters around and pay for transfers.
