So, Mosg and I discussed video concerns last night. We're fairly confident the issues we're seeing are minor, and could potentially show up in the CS forums for Bioware.

However, similar to Bloodcloud, I also saw an odd anomaly with one of the client windows. It would flicker "some" of the graphics,.... some of the time. I did a window wizard refresh, and ditched the client, exited IS and ISB... reloaded in admin mode and re-launched the team (one window was open this entire time). Seemed to have fixed it. The flickering resembled what you would see if there were driver conflicts with the video setup.

by the end of the evening, I had mine operating normally, although I did have to turn off the AA and lower some graphic settings, as my FPS were also showing about 10fps higher than normal.

Now that follow has been fixed, i noticed another issue that needs a remedy; Camera Follow. Its extremely difficult to cast my target area aoe abilities, or if i want to move everyone forward.

Yeah, the camera angle issue does suck. There's no key bind yet to center the screen (that I could find).

So I've been following the boxing progress from you guys... with follow issue being the main complaint. Now that it's fixed...

    Q) What are any other big hurdles remaining to make TOR as "smooth" to box as wow? and as rewarding?

I think thats a highly opinionated answer youre asking for. For some people, just the fact that its star wars, makes it rewarding.
SWTOR isnt as smooth as wow yet. Its got some work to do. There isnt an in-game macro system. I find this to be a hang up. There isnt a working IWT either. Focus is glitchy. The game graphics is nice, but also a bit glitchy at times. Running into instances that are character specific is annoying, because you have to manually move all your slaves in... Similar to some of the instance portals for wow in the outlands. There are more weird things too that are just as annoying. the crafting system is odd. to keep all toons crafting, you end up doing nothing but crafting...seeing how as you end up window swapping a lot. Operating separate classes puts you doing different story line class quests... that are often not even in the same area or planet...

    etc etc.

The autofollow being fixed, (in my opinioin), makes the annoyances tolerable.

    Asonimie:

I think the game is just ripe enough to eat Follow being fixed is *huge*. You don't have to compulsively hit follow anymore and constantly check your alt windows to see if your guys are stuck or falling behind.

Probably the most frustrating part is going to be reforming your group after a warzone (if you queue as a group it degroups after that warzone is over) and using the focus system in warzones. I'll talk about it more in depth when I do my manifesto (this weekend, I promise everyone).

I think right now 2 boxing is the least hair pulling experience. In general you have very few assisting or following issues since your characters will almost always assist or follow each other when you swap windows. Throwing 3 into the mix can result in A leading with B following A and C following B.

Eh, I have a perfect follow setup, albeit it doesn't work in warzones. That's fixed by simply using a different keymap.

I have 4 different assist/follow keymaps that I toggle on or off for warzones. For me this still doesn't stop the B follows C for some characters when they lead. I suppose IF you run 4 this actually isn't an issue because your group layout is always the same, meaning party slot 3 might be different for 2 characters but you can actually set it up so each character targets the right character depending on which keymap is toggled.

For 3 however the one wildcard slot completely screws it up in warzones.
