Default How many boxes can I support?

    Hey

So I am new to multi-boxing and I am not very tech savvy, so I will need as much guidance as possible as I enter the world of multi-boxing.

My first question, is how many boxes can this system support? I am not expecting many, as it is a laptop, but I will post my Desktop specs soon aswell.

    Anyway, here goes.

    <<< System Summary >>>
    > Platform : Intel Calpella
    > Mainboard : Asus N61Jv
    > Chipset : Intel HM55
    > Processor : Intel Core i5 @ 2266MHz
    > Physical Memory : 4096MB (2 x 2048 DDR3-SDRAM )
    > Video Card : Intel(R) HD Graphics
    > Hard Disk : Seagate ST9500325AS ATA Device (500GB)
    > DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT32N
    > CD-Rom Drive : DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device
    > Monitor Type : HSD160PHW1 - 16 inches
    > Network Card : Atheros Communications AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCIe)
    > Network Card : Attansic (Now owned by Atheros) AR8131 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Controller
    > Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Professional Media Center 6.01.7601 Service Pack 1 (32-bit)
    > DirectX : Version 11.00
    > Windows Performance Index : 4.2 on 7.9

I know a lot of this is not required, such as the monitor size, but like I said, I am not very tech savvy and used a program called PCWizard to do this, if there is a better program I can use for my desktop, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Your 'Video Card' (or lack of) is on-board integrated video, this will be your biggest bottle neck with this system.

With the above, I think you'll manage two, maybe three?

Think about getting a new graphics card for your system, one for £100 or so will give you enough horsepower to play 5.

Also, scrap that PC Wizard thing, probably malware. Just cut and paste the specification from the website you bought it from.

Thanks for that! Sounds like I will be multi-boxing on my desktop, it will easily be able to handle 5 I hope

Ah apologies, didn't read it as a laptop.

Look for ones that come with dedicated graphics unit and you should be able to box 4 easily, I'd recommend more ram for 5 or above though.

You could always use both computers. Run your main on your laptop and your slaves on your desktop.
