Low GPU Load w/ 5 Box

So is it me or is innerspace not utilizing GPUs to the max?

I just upgraded to an oc'ed 5.0ghz i7 w/ 7970.

When five boxing in LFR, i've noticed that I'm getting low 30s on main client and 20s fps wise but GPU utilization is only 40%?

Your bottleneck is apparently not your super-powerful GPU. It could be CPU or RAM?

What I would do first is check/adjust your CPU settings in ISBoxer. By default, ISBoxer sets FPS limits 60fps for foreground (the active window) and 30fps for background (inactive windows). You can quickly adjust these settings for your Character Set by using the CPU Strategy Wizard (found in the Wizards menu). Try 60 or 100 or something for both FPS settings during the wizard. After you Export it will take effect immediately, so you can try different things out while playing and observe the difference in performance and CPU/GPU usage levels.

I'm running a 5.0ghz 2600k w/ 16Ghz of ram, cpu load is usually 20-50% max with five clients.

Ram usually sits around 8-10gb used so that's not it.

I've unchecked the FPS limiter in ISboxer as well as wow.

Lax, I'm not trying to dog your software, I think it's great, I'm just trying to figure out why the load is so low despite FPS being bogged down.

I could understand FPS being low if the Load is 100% and the GPU is giving it all it got.

Do you have dx 11 selected in wow? And is this an indication of immature drivers from Amd causing the low utilization?

Also, giving us an idea of how you have your WoWs setup would go a long way to figuring out where your bottlenecks are. Running 5x WoW at 1920x1200 is a world of difference from 5 @ 800x600.

If you have VSync enabled in Warcraft, that can limit your FPS too.

Try disabling addons other than ISBoxer as well. (If you disable the ISBoxer addon any WoW macros ISBoxer wants to make for you will not be there.)
