Default raf warning - it's "only" 39 levels you can grant...

I'm pretty sure I had read that somehow a level 80 is able to grant 40 levels - well it's not the case - just did a bunch of grants and it's 39 levels max that are grantable - don't miss by 1 the 80.99 goal

You can grant a level, for every even level attained.
    Toons start off at 1st, so we're counting 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th.
Which is five even levels gained, for each 10-level section of the game.
    1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80... is eight 10-level brackets.
    Meaning forty even levels gained.
Meaning, you can grant 40 levels, from an RAF toon who went from 1st to 80th.

You cannot give a level to a toon who is 80th.
But you can to one who is 79th.
Toons start off at 1st, and not 0th level.
So they only need to be granted 79 levels, not 80 levels to reach the maximum RAF granted level.

    If you boost/level two toons on B, in an RAF ( A > B ) chain.
B can give A, 40 levels from the first and 40 from the second.
Meaning A, gets a full 80 for every two toons boosted/leveled on B.
Not even looking at cascading of granted levels.

To take full advantage you need to level/boost a multiple of 2 (sets of toons), per jump/referral in the RAF chain.
So with an A > B set up, boost two toons on B for a full toon on A.
And in an A > B > C set up (two jumps) boost (2x2) four toons on BC, for the cascade levels to work optimally.
As in C gives B two toons, B gives A two toons... then B gives A another toon, because it received 80 levels from C twice.
In an A > B > C > D > E chain (2x2x2x2 = 16) you'd need to boost/level 16 toons for maximum cascade effect, but we cannot have that many toons on one server on the same account...

I'm really in favor of this RAF chain:
    A > B > C
    A > D > E
You can boost "four" or "eight" toons on BCDE, with A.
    That's assuming a booster on A.
And BCDE being boosted in each set.

If you don't have a booster, the first set can be 5x questing toons.
With one of them being the booster (on A) for subsequent sets.

    Boosting four toons, nets you:
    A - Booster
    B - Four Toons
    C - Four Toons
    D - Four Toons
    E - Four Toons.

Then E (gives to D), D (gives to A) two toons each.
And C (gives to B), B (gives to A) two toons each.
And then B/D each give one more toon to A, because they received 80 even levels twice.

    Ending with:
    A - Booster + 6 granted level 80's.
    B - Four Toons + 2 granted level 80's.
    C - Four Toons.
    D - Same as B.
    E - Same as C.

If you then boost/level a few more sets.
And possibly character transfer toons from A to C/E...
You can start on a brand new server, having transferred one toon...
    Who had heirlooms, wealth, etc.
    And play with other boxers.

Yep this happened to me as well, so when you're looking at your no gear level 79 toons, take them to Ampi of Anguish in Zul'drak , it will get you most of the level.

    Ok...

Have not RAF'd since Burning Crusade.
    So that tells you something.

The process will then be amended.
Instead of grant levels to a level 1...
    We have 39+39 = 78 +1 = 79.
So boost the level to level 2, and be as close to 99% into the level as possible..
    Then do the granting.

    C - Four Toons.
    D - Same as B.
    E - Same as C. "

You level up 16 toons 1-80 and get 10 level 80s as a bonus.

    You did 16 1-40
    You did 16 41-80

    You got 26 level 80

Using my method on my web site :

    I do 20 characters 1-40
    I do 10 of those characters 41-80

    I get 25 characters level 80.

Mine requires 5 transfers. Yours requires none.

I do 4 more 1-40 you do 6 more 41-80 but you get one more guy.

that would equal me 5 more 1-40 and you 5 more 41-80 (add me 1-40 and take off 41-80 for you is like one more 1-80)

So I do equivalent of 5 1-40 and you do 5 41-80 for a equalivalnt of 26 each.

It would seem mine is still a little bit better, if you dont count the transfers .... both of these assume the "old" granting way
