Default As usual another noob question :)

So just bought keyclone and started setting it up.. Have been running around one shotting things in the noob zone and have encountered 3 things I could use a hand with..

    1.) Accepting/handing in quests.

My mouse clicks aren't helping, Maximizer i have toyed with but it doesn't seem to pass the mouse movement nor keystrokes (also affecting line of sight with 3 hunters trying to attack. I can move my mains view with mouse but it doesn't do it on the other windows.) I've done some searching in regards to this but No one really says what maximizer is supposed to do? Just window-ing the WoW instances? i'm not even sure.

2.) Talking.. I put the RETURN key in as a do not pass but I still start typing on all my characters and then type garbled cause i obviously put qweasd so i have to go and delete it from each screen before i continue...

    3.) Looting..

I have no idea how to do this. I like it on group loot or whatever.

But for quest items and such i'll need to be able to loot (and not to go broke..)

I don't really care who receives the loot (i'd like it to be random) but I don't want to have to randomly alt tab..

So a bit confused, But getting there.. I searched a bit some answers are a tad vague and I did just start reading today.

    Thanks for your time !

G'evening evanr and welcome to the forums!

    1. accepting/handing in quests... i seriously don't get the big deal people have with this. so you have to click a few times. and??? anyhow, no.. there is nothing for that.

yes... maximizer lays out your windows and allows for PiP swapping.

no, keyclone will not pass mouse clicks.

    2. if you want to chat, hit the override hotkey (defaults to PAUSE).. then chat away. putting RETURN on dnp will only stop the RETURN key from not passing.. the others will continue to pass, making your clone screen do all sorts of cool things

    3. i find it easier to loot when i turn on 'focus follows mouse'... then i just move my mouse over the clone window and right click.

if you have any more questions... feel free to drop me a note.

    have a great night

For accepting quests, get twoboxtoolkit addon. You get most quests on your main, share them and all other characters will auto-accept....only quests it wont work on are those where the npc then gives you an item as well as the quest.

For handing in quests, yes you have to manually click on the npc but with the window focus code now in keyclone (and god that saved me when I went to Vista Rob, well done there) to remove one click to focus the window and twoboxtoolkit automagically clicking through the gossip screens after you right click on the npc to hand in, I dont really see the big hassle.

And yes, for looting on collection quests the focus follows option is again a godsend...the only other thing to remember is to leave looting with your main until last so you can either still see the sparklies for ground loot or know that once you get the message they have completed the quest then all your others will have as well. Questannouncer is also a great addon for this purpose as you will see your other characters progress pop-up on your main screen and party chat to tell when they have finished as well.

Thanks for your help.. I figured out #2 few minutes after I posted this but left the question to see how other people do it.

#1 I suppose is alright, Not too big a deal just means i'll do more grindy quests and #3 i've sorta been getting faster at.

Thanks alot for your time, and I appreciate the courteous and timely response!!

Accepting quests is macroable, as is accepting most everything else. Look it up on the forums :)
