5x Mages Question

Anyone ever tried to 5v5 in arenas. 5x mages? frost or arcane? I'm working on 5x mages at the moment to compare to my 5x elemental shamans.

There is a 5 boxxing mage out there, I played him last night. He did well but I came out on top.. just. I went and made a few changes to my setup after that so next time I see him we do better. He ran out invisible, popped all cooldowns and mirrors and nuked with no heals. Pretty good effort and looked funny as hell seeing that many mirrors, I am going to roll mages next as it looks like fun. I dont believe they would work well vs melee heavy teams

pwnstarz is the main toons name and also the team name, only just started in arena so only around 1400 mark, will go 1800+ once I get back into it.

hehe those are my mages.

I was playing on my DKs and Pally at the same time, and they were about to start a game right after the mage arena started, so i just ran into your arena parked myself and spammed 2 lol. i couldn't focus on much else. I think i managed a clutch ice block but that's about it lol

I look forward to the next match, and if I'm not playing 2 arenas at the same time, I will show you the pain of the mages!

to OP: Mages can be fun in arena, but they are not a serious team. you can blow up some dumb teams, but anyone with a brain is going to LoS you and win with a single hunter / rogue DPSing you down. I have some videos, maybe I will put them up.

Hey Tropical, Probably the most entertaining team I have come across. I was so in Shock I nearly filled my pants when I saw 20 mages appear at once lol

I wish I recorded it! Made me wake up and show how un efficient I was playing though so thank you

I took three ilvl ~372 mages (zero resilience) into 3v3 and won a couple of games

It was quite exciting

Maybe I should reforge them for crit instead of masterY

haha well done! that would be fun! I am levelling mages, even just to go AV, pop mirrors and spam fire spells would be awesome
