Instead of rezing or healing your pet after a fight just dismiss them and summon back. It takes a few seconds and the pet is back to full health.

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
― Epicurus
Or just let him/her be, finish quest and voila, you got your companion back with 100% hp.
Your channeled 15 second skill (Seethe, Channel Hatred, etc.) that heals your own health also heals your companion's health (and it can be hotkeyed).
and dismissing your companion and resummon takes like 5, so the point was efficiency. Often I dont lose much health but my companion does. It isnt worth sitting there to heal him up.
Mount -> dismount -> full companion.
off subject, but another trick i use is teleportation after a quest.
if you dont mind dying, which credit roll in so easy, nobody should care about repair cost.
but if you just die you get ported to the nearest "town" with a travel spot, so i'll just attack a couple groups and die and port to medical station
Repair costs at level 50 with decent gear starts to get expensive. One of my repair bills in a mix of blues and purples exceeded 60k credits. So, at some point, relying on the death port will be cost prohibitive.
