The results tbh is not as awesome as I've seen other readings have been, but it might have to do with the load that was on it, will try with all folders on it to see if it makes any difference with the loading time even though I've never had this fast loading screen. Also transfered WoW over to the disk with 180MB/s lol., but I guess this would be do-able with 2SSD transfering to eachother aswell. Anyways so far it's worth the money

Wouldn't it be easier to use the ram you already have and get a different cooler that wouldn't interfere with the ram modules?
But Man, I am so jealous of that ram disk..... My next build is definately having 32GB+ of ram, just so I can do this.
Then I would only have 8GB ram total, but I did solve this by buying some smaller RAM sinks to put on the Vengeance. Also the sinks that were already on seemed kinda plastic'ish? Didn't seem to do anything but look ridiculous lol
Edit: Only problem I have atm is getting the RAM disk loaded with the wow data at startup, I was using this guide: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=356046
But it doesn't seem to work with a 26GB img file, maybe it takes to long to save, no idea.

Try this its $80 but you wont have to worry about setting up a ram disk, nor be concerned about how much of wow to put into the ram disk.
Make sure to ask the company if you can set the amount of system ram it uses though cause if its only using 8G or something then its usless for our purposes.
But with this product they have the fastest in the world stock computers, they claim.
You will stutter the first time you zone into a new zone but after that ....
Glad to see ram disk seems to produce no lag as I predicted years ago. Not to mention setting up the ram disk is almost no time at all at each wow start up.
Im not sure how you get faster write speeds then read speeds ....
Keep in mind that except when loading new zones most all the reads are way under 4K.
PerfectCache improved the performance rating by 57.3%.
Of additional note, as of 11:00 am on 8/5/2011, this system holds the world record for the fastest system with a stock Intel Core i7 970 processor. It also holds the record for the fastest system with a single stock AMD HD 6850 GPU and the record for the fastest system with both components.
To view these records directly from the PassMark Performance Test™ 7.0 application, follow these steps:
From the menu bar:
• Click on the "View" menu.
• Click on the "Install Baseline from Web…" option.
• Enter the search string: "Intel Core i7 970 @ 3.20GHz" and click the "Search" button.
Just to clarify you have 32G total. On a 1155 MB, with I7 and you run 4 (from your signature) or are you doing 5 instances of wow with no lag in SW? Or did you only run one instance during the test?
Im almost sure to get a 2011 MB w/ 64G in 3 or so months.
