Default controlling dps from healer account while dead

I just saw this video and it shows that multi boxing has made many improvements in the 2 years since I have been gone.

how do you control your dps, tank or any other chars when your leader or the main char is dead? This would be great

Most people use a FTL setup, which allows you to quickly swap the "leader" when the main dies.

Once a toon dies, I lose target on whatever I was targeting.

If I re-target something, from the dead toon.
My slaves will continue to FTL assist the active (but dead) toon.
And attack whatever I have targeted on the active toon.

I can switch, almost instantly from one toon to another, via IS Boxer.
That is good too, because a not dead toon is more mobile and can look about better.

When the toon is controlled by the enemy (you are polymorphed or feared), your slaves don't assist properly (they cannot "read" what you have targeted).
But you can FTL switch to another toon to remove this issue.

All that being said, I find it's sometimes more beneficial to stay on the "dead" window. If one toon gets killed (usually rogues stacking abilities to 2-shot one of my shamans) it's good to change screens and drive with a live character.

If you're being bum rushed by a giant wall of enemies aoe spamming, either you're dead quickly or you manage to blast the whole wad of them quickly. In either case, I find that switching to another window, re-adjusting to the different camera angle, and establishing control just wastes valuable time, and prefer to keep casting and healing on my main window as long as my team is pointed in the right direction.
