Raid Finder and other adventures

Hello,

I must say, raid finder is certainly a great feature blizzard added, especially for boxers
I take in my 3 shammys and priest in the one go, and my fiance tags along as well on his mage or DK Tank.

I have been kicked 2 times sinceit was launched.
1st time they must have previous wiped numerous times and someone said kick the shammys, they will leech your tokens x3 and before I knew it 3 of the shammys all named almost same were booted. They did not realise the priest named very differently was also my toon, nor that my fiance was on his mage as well, and we all in same guild etc.
Not that it matters, I was pretty pissed off, and left on the priest, regrouped, and re-entered a fresh queue, went fine.

Most times its okay, get in there, DPS, pew pew, and win loot etc

Last week I was in the top 5 dps on one of my shammys, other 2 were around 8 to 11, we killed first 3 bosses for 2nd half of the raid,and was on deathwing, no issues etc, until deathwing, when people did not switch on the last platform to the tenticles, we wiped 3 times, then someone says kick the damn shammys, mulit-boxing sux.

I try to explain I am in top 5 with 1 toon varying from 8-11 on other 2, Im holding up fine.
he says, I dont care, I don't like mutli-boxers and before anything more could be said, all 3 were kicked, I had my priest in there again as well and my fiance, those 2 toons were not touched.

No wipes prior, no issues, no one cares, I am there, wipe on the last boss, not due to my fault, and its all of a sudden because I am boxing. Argg, stupid people, stupid sheep just clicking yes to a vote kick not knowing why Grrr.

I'm thinking to rename the 3 shammys too various different names, so they do not stand out to be a boxing set.

Anyway thats the only 2 times I have been kicked, regardless of that, my toons are gearing up nicely, one has 4 piece now, others are 2-3 pieces.

In Dragon Soul,raiding my with guild, we have had some weird luck, and bad luck. My hunter is already in 5 piece set(Not LFR) and our shammy healer is almost in the same situation. lol

Last week, every single tier token was hunter/shammy/warrior, every single one!!! While thats kind of great for me and the shammy, and are already 396 ilvl it really is frustrating for other classes, RNG can really be nasty at times.

Oh and speaking of RNG, I saw in LFR, 2 of the same tier token pieces drop off the one boss, thats not uncommon to see, what was sad was the person who won it, won Both of them, same chest token x 2, so many people were very annoyed 1 person won 2 same tokens, and refused to trade it off, yet he was never kicked, and they kick boxers for no reason :/

I have made a tonne of gold, pre-planned before the patch came, sold loads of gems, made a good 700k, bought my maina spectral tiger at long last

I have the Ash'es for air and now my Spectral Tiger for ground woot, but damn my daughter, she too is mount crazy, and scored Aeonaxx, I have been camping that mount for weeks, stopped for 2 weeks, she happens to go too Deepholm too camp it, soon as she got there, npc scanner goes off, and she got it lol

Few weeks prior she got the south drake win, off Ala'kir, day after Aeonaxx she got that water mount poseidus or whatever it is, and same day mount from stratholme, what luck.

Anyway great patch, looking for raid, is awesome way too gear up alts, other sets etc, guild raid progression slowed due to holidays, only 1/8 hm, having a great time none the less.

Indeed, its pretty cool that it exists and they took a stab at an alternative loot system finally.

I like the swap spec to queue for other spec items and such, as well as re-running.

What kind of DPS are you putting out?

Are you using Merc's 2-step macro?

I do love the LFR, lets me experience raid content and ive missed out on raids previous expansions.
At times yes it can get messy in there alot of blame goes around.

Just yesterday i took my shammies in there (named differently) after 1st boss someone picked up on that it was a multiboxer and couple people were having a go that they hate boxers and wanted me kicked, two others said my dps wasnt good enough,,,i was 12,15,16 on the dps so they had every right to want my last 2 toons kicked. but i was actually suprised that i had alot of people in there defend me and boxing. They didnt kick me and luckily every boss following i came 6-9 on dps.

Now that my pc is upgraded i can run them all on 1 pc with very little lag in there now, so my dps is a lot better.
Having different names helps alot,,most times no one says a thing, since almost every boss everyone is grouped up all together

Im using a simple one macro pewpew and I get anywhere from 20 - 25k dps in raid finder. On deathwing I can hit 50k, but thats just inflated.

I have been five boxing a Prot pally, rogue, hunter, mage, and resto druid, They all have their own individual names and I have done BH, FL, BWD, BoT and DS around 20 times, I have only been told once that I needed to leave for multiboxing, we wiped in BWD on Nef because two of the healers,(not even my resto druid) went to the wrong pillar three straight pulls. "Oh hey he is multiboxing this fight is to difficult for a boxer lets ki8ck him."

Beyond that my comp can run 8 copies of wow with no slow down so I am told more often than not that people dont even noticed I am boxing.

On target dummies, it is around 10K. I have mostly 348 iLevel gear though.

IF I use different classes and 2 step macro the dps is lost.
If I use same classes like ele shammy then I make all their bars the same, and just press whatever key dps i want to use and it does same on other toons. 2 step macro is handy but I find I lose a fair amount of dps using it not sure why that is.

Noticed it alot on arc mages and ele, so I stopped using mixed classes and 2 step macro

If I take disc priest with the shammys in LFR then I set it up to smite heal, generaly its carriedthat way but so far groups havent been really an issue and now so many people are geared alot by now, well it seems like it to me when i monitor LFR groups dps compared tpp when it first launched and now, overall most seem to be doing really good dps, you still get some low dpsers but thats what its there for, to get gear and seems it doesnt matter as you can carry people easily through all 8 bosses.

shammys need some more gear only 1 is 4 piece tier others 2 set but too much pvp gear on them still, except main shammy.

Its dps varies boss too boss 25-30k average I'd say, other 2 are kind of all over the place and considerably lower dps

I have not touched my mages in a while they are slowly going to be hitting LFR as well, as we want too gear them as well and separate someonto more accounts cause I am after the mount off Ala'kir, so going to try too box it and see how it goes soon.

If i take that 1 geared ele shammy and use it on its own, of course dps would be consideranly higher then compared too when I box them,but overall its dps is fine for LFR and others are climbing too.

Just too lazy to take them through new heroics time and time again as I really loathe new heroics for some reason
