So last couple days I have been rolling with Oathbreaker and Tiny in AV with 1-2 sinlge-boxers and another boxer. So basically we have had 15 shaman, 5 DK, warrior tank and a priest with the occassional extra 5 DKs or 5 resto druids. We do well initially but then our team mates of single boxxers end up accomplishing nothing.

Our initial strategy was to defend our first two towers (TP and the one near Galv) and then back cap. What we discovered is our 18-19 team mates wouldn't cap SHB or head north. They would mess around with Bal and get wiped and then hang out in the tunnel doing nothing as we back cap relief hut, GYs and Towers in our base and then we would bunker into the boss's room and unload a ton of chain lightning + deathgrip the single boxxers in with the occassional sortie out to hit more. But again this would generally lead to a loss due to reinforcements so it isn't a valid tactic.

So we went for plan B. I rolled resto x 5 and we basically push north cap north and south bunkers. I would ES each of the 5 DKs and Oathbreakers 2 resto shammies takes care of his other 8 guys. As soon as we cap on tower we pop 5 x Army and roll into Van's room with about 10 secs to cap on another Bunker. Let DKs plus Armies grab aggro then summon up 15 fire elementals, 15 earth elementals and pop lust = win in less than nine minutes.

I think once we started doing this we had a 100% win ratio for the 3-4 games we did this way. Excellent way of grinding some quick honor and I know my toons are now in almost all 384/390 gear.

So what tactics do other use when grouping up with multiple Boxxers for AV or IOC?
