While solo in heroics my elemental shamans do 17k+ dps. But when I multibox using the same exact button smash macro they only do 6k dps.
My computer does run a little slower than I'd like, needs an upgrade, could that explain the very low dps?

Latency will rape your dps without a rubber

Your confusing lag with FPS. What is probably happening is the key is being broadcast to another screen but the FPS is behind or so slow that it is not being registered as pressed. So your DPS is being lowered because your not actually casting as often on the multiple screens as you are on the main screen.
Right latency is not FPS but I would think that as latency (ping) to the server goes up dps goes down.
What it depends on is if wow makes sending keypresses to the server a priority over rending frames. Which I would assume they do but if they didnt and your cpu waits to render a frame before it sends recent key presses then your dps is going to tank big time, as yours did.
If wow polls the keys and sends the keypresses in real time, not careing if frames are rendered or not then it would seem that dps should not drop a ton, depending on your boxing software how it does it.
I would assume that Lax would have worked this out long ago and people using isboxer dont have this kind of a problem.
