Just to bring it up again...If ping is an issue for you and if you are a little adventurous (not much really, this has been floating around a while - I've been using for 2 months, no problem), see this thread.

My pings in wow went from 160-180 down to 80-100 with just this patch. That's much more than you're likely to see for any DSL/Fiber/?? technology change.
