If you had multiple accounts, each on their own B.Net email, quite a while ago before authenticators were restricted to one authenticator to a single account...
Then the advantage was significant.
You could log in all accounts simultaneously, on a single code which would be the same for all accounts.
Since you cannot attach an authenticator to more than a single account anymore.
The only advantage really, is being able to have a different set of Real ID friends on each account.
Or more likely, having them all on the account your "drive" with, and none on the other accounts.
Balance that against items becoming Battle.Net bound, instead of just account bound...
And I'd have to say, you're much better off with a single B.Net which contains all of your accounts.
Of course, we're limited to eight (I believe) accounts on a single B.Net email... so if you 10-box, then you have two or more B.Net emails anyway.
For newer boxers, you're better off with one B.Net and all your accounts on that log in.
The bound to Battle.Net, is making that tempting...
