Default real Id on 1 bnet question

    Hey,

So I gave in and activated real ID since I server transferred. Now I have 2 questions about this with regards to multiple accounts.

    1) RealID whispers end up on account B, someone parked at the AH, even if I send a whisper with my main account A. Any way to solve it so they always end up on account A (apart from using jamba).

    2) Is there a possibility to invite a toon on account B to the party on account A, while both share the same bnet account and are on a different realm? (I want to boost a lowbie A with an 85 on a different realm).

    Cheers

Blizzard said the last account to be logged in on that BNet will receive RealID whispers.

Pretty sure someone else did this for boosting. Not entirely sure.

That makes sense. It could have been two separate BNets that I remember reading about.

Well, realid whispers always go to my 3/4 char when I play, and I always log them in in order.

I've got five B.Net emails, and five accounts.
I usually lead with the second account, and that's the only one that has Real ID friends.

Doesn't really help you out, unfortunately.

Ualaa is there an advantage to having multilple B.Net Accounts? I've been delaying adding my second B.Net account to get accounts 9 and 10 up and running. I'm guessing that you can not transfer .net bound gear between them.

Also maybe I'm reading the question wrong can you really have characters in a group that are not in the same rhelm? That would surprise the hell out of me, but then again maybe I'm reading that wrong.

Asked on the official wow forums and a blue replied it's not possible to invite them.

But I think I've found a work around, let a friend invite both of my toons through real ID, then log off.

If you had multiple accounts, each on their own B.Net email, quite a while ago before authenticators were restricted to one authenticator to a single account...

    Then the advantage was significant.
You could log in all accounts simultaneously, on a single code which would be the same for all accounts.

Since you cannot attach an authenticator to more than a single account anymore.
The only advantage really, is being able to have a different set of Real ID friends on each account.
Or more likely, having them all on the account your "drive" with, and none on the other accounts.

Balance that against items becoming Battle.Net bound, instead of just account bound...
And I'd have to say, you're much better off with a single B.Net which contains all of your accounts.
Of course, we're limited to eight (I believe) accounts on a single B.Net email... so if you 10-box, then you have two or more B.Net emails anyway.
For newer boxers, you're better off with one B.Net and all your accounts on that log in.

The bound to Battle.Net, is making that tempting...
