4 Boxing FireLands

I 4 boxed firelands last night with 4 ele shams. I'll record the run next week, so people can see positioning and what not. I honestly didn't know what to expect as this was my first attempt at doing Firelands on multiple toons, and I must say the fights seemed easier than when I'm not 4 boxing.


Group Makeup:

Prot War
Prot Pal / Ret Offspec
Resto Druid x2
Fire Mage
Rogue
4 Ele Shams




Shannox - Dodge the Traps, basically just run DBM or strafe a little every time shannox throws out the traps. Pewpew RageFace, Pewpew Shannox down to like 40%, Burn Riplimb, lust and burn Shannox.

Beth - I stayed down on the shamans and did Spinners/Drones. I was also the person doing spiderlings. They die so fast with 4x Chain lightning spam.

Rhyolith - I was in charge of the adds, put the mage/rogue + tank went ret for legs. I stayed off to the right side of the room and didn't have to really worry too much about magma flows they wouldn't get that far.

Alysrazor - I killed adds on one side and pewpew'd bird/ boss. The rogue handled the other side add, and the mage went up top.

Baleroc - Ret/Rogue/Mage did shards... I helped off heal when it was necessary on shards / tank, but i mostly just turreted DPS.

Domo - Scorp phase I just clumped and pewpew'd as normal. Cat phase I kept my shamans stacked outside the circle. I would just strafe when he hit 95 energy. This way I dodged the jumps on all 4 if it came at me. If it was on some one else was still safe. With the lightning bolt while moving glyph wasn't a big dps loss. I'd then chain lightning the 2nd cat that spawned. During the seed/bomb phase. I just stayed in and blew up on the raid. With 4 x healing rain and chain heal I'd top everyone up.

Ragnaros - Didn't do this one yet, as this run is just to farm essences for my wife's legendary. I do want to 4 box Rag though, so maybe next week we'll give it a try.

Nice! Thanks for the write up. I'm sure a few of us boxers on KJ will head in there soon to check it out, though LFR and heroics are the easier way to get high level loot for now so when we head in we won't be under geared.

Ya I run the 3 new heroics + LFR for gear. Firelands is just being ran for essences for my wife's legendary. Otherwise I would have probably never tried to 4 box it. However, now that I have done 6/7 in Firelands I really want to 4box Ragnaros, and start working on 3-4 ele in Dragon Soul. Dunno, how this will work out unless I run 2 raid groups. Currently my main is a rogue, don't want to hose my legendary progress.

Ok so title should be "4 boxing shamans as part of a 10 man fireland raid group" which is quite less impressive as current title :-) (if you have 7 players in a raid, I'm sure the first 6 can do whatever may be complex and the last one and three clones can pew pew dps...)

I think he deleted the post. It is nice that he got in with a group of people that support him. I wish I could sit here and play this game, but i keep looking at the character log in screen and want to cry because ive played all the classes at 85. I dont think monk will help any...they need another ranged/rogue class.

I think something like a Ranger from Warhammer would be good. Or maybe even a Rift Rogue class.
