Thread: 1 vs. 35+

    Default 1 vs. 35+

So I'm in my not-so-great-for-pvp incursion fits with way too many beams and not enough pulse 18 shield apocs of rape, 6 logis, 1 tengu siege booster, 1 proteus info/skirm booster when I came across a large gang that wanted to fight:

This fleet of 8+ logis, 20+ BS/BCs, couple jammers, and 4 or more carriers apparently didn't bring along their primary calling skills because they were unable to break the tank on my Basis which thanks to my lessons learned were indeed orbitting me this time. They had the logis to tank me and I got stuck trying to kill some ships but quick target swaps proved too much for their crappy logi pilots to handle. Only after I had decimated their subcaps these Snuff Box fellas came in to help me kill the carriers (I had no neuts, I probably needed the help) and in typical goon fashion I killed one of them as well by mistake.

This was my biggest PvP multiboxing victory ever. They were mighty pissed.

    Quite insane and quite impressive!
I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself.

Insane. Allthough I don't really follow the spam in the Killboard links, 2 billion for that carrier alone... lol

Nice, I have T2 and T3 and a few Cap pilots, but I do not believe that I know how to function at that level in a battle. I am so very impressed.

Thats quite impressive. I havent ventured into the world of Eve in quite a while. I'm thinking of starting up 5 accounts and trying my luck for a bit. How difficult is it to get a setup going where i can make enough ISK with mining etc to support all 5 accounts?

Figure that you will have to pay for about 3 or 4 months to get the training up to the point where you can mine for ISK and buy Plex to pay for your accounts. My basic setup for mining at the moment is 2 Orcas and 5 maxed out hulks/pilots. Main orca is for all the mining boosts, with all the t2 modules, all the mining implants etc. It takes me 14 minutes to fill a 190,000m3 Orca. My second Orca just hauls the ore to the POS. We use a 18 million m3 construction hanger to unload to. If I am running with a second fleet, we fill an Orca in about 5 minutes. I just have enough time to fill the orca, warp to the pos, unload and warp back to refill instantly. It is all turn and burn. We will go through 6 or 8 belts and call it an evening. All my ore actually goes into Capital Construction and not plex. benifits of being old, I can afford it.

Oh.. with ISBoxer and InnerSpace it is very easy to set up. There are step by step instructions, and someone like me can walk you through it. There is an auto wizard that really does everything for you in the ISBoxer tool box

Very cool! I've been mining in eve with many clients without the use of multiboxing software so far. (ice mining so it's not that hard but a lot of clicking every 11 minutes as I haul back to the pos using the macks) I would like to make the process of jettisoning the ice and returning to the ice belt easier (and starting a new collection cycle). I'd only really need the functionality of isboxer for repeating the mouse movements & clicks, and the f1/f2 keys to start the cycle. Right now I'm using 2 computers and it's taking all of their power to run this setup. (with the clients running in windowed mode, slightly cascaded horizontally)

I'm concerned that ISboxer may add some overhead making the clients slow to a halt. I don't want ISboxer to resize the windows (or do anything with them really) I just would like it to repeat the mouse/keyboard keys. This post certainly lifts my hopes that this will work.

P.S. PsyberTech I just found out about those ship hangars being able to store ice.. what a godsend

You should be able to do this by selecting "No Layout" in the wizard. It should just open the windows and leave it up to you to size them, etc. I have noticed a performance hit in Rift when using ISBoxer to resize the windows but I can't say I've noticed the same thing in EVE.
