Thread: Follow broke

Don't take my 5 minutes of running around in circles with follow on to be an indication of it working or not.

I do run a pretty beastly computer if that is what you are asking.

GTX 570 SC. 2500k OC'd to 4.9 ghz. 8 gigs of ram. 120 Gig SSD that swtor is running off of. It sounds like once I get in on both and do more than run around in circles testing my settings I will probably run into it.

http://www.digitalstormonline.com/co....asp?id=597328 is mine.. its a tad above yours.. im also running of a fast SSD. I logged on two PCs.. without isboxer, just to make sure its game related. I still have bugged follow.. the toons run in place for several seconds.3-10 seocnds, every 50 feet or less..un playbel liek that.

It MIGHT be server related.. my latency is only 30ish.. my FPS is 100+

The stock OC on yours is significantly lower than my current OC, unless you bumped it up yourself!

Its high enough for this game though.. overkill. My point was its not my rig causing the follow issue. I boxed in beta with this PC and the exact same settings. Something changed from beta to live. Not sure what, but i hope it gets fixed. I'm soloing atm and hate it..knowing I should be able to box. ( grateful to be in early access..but still )

Are you running the dxnothing method? I'm not and I didn't seem to have any problems. I'll login again and check though.

Ya, it's doing it to me too. Not a HUGE deal but it is annoying. Just gotta spam follow.

I can't even get ISboxer to work on my end and I was having this problem with follow player while playing on two separate computers without ISBoxer and again when my wife got home and was trying to follow my character or I was trying to follow hers.

Someone else on server asked about the issue as well on general chat last night. There's also a short thread about it on SWTOR forums. My luck in playing two characters in this game hasn't been very good.
    Can you link the thread?

Having the same issue with autofollow. It's completely broken and even spamming it just makes it move all weirdly and eventually fail.

Likewise. My following character keeps rubberband-ing.

However, if I stop moving and wait a minute, the second character eventually does catch up to my main. It just takes a few seconds.

This does seem to be a game issue rather than an ISBoxer issue. I have also tested it on by loading one client on two different PCs and autofollow still breaks. Really annoying.
