    I've never in the history of playing the game have had to reset my windows unless i did a complete reinstall.
    Of course you could be talking about a game other than wow...

    I don't even have to do that when I reimage my system. I save my whole wow directory on a backup drive, complete the install and update of the game, then copy the directory over the installed one. Boom, everything back the way it was.
