“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

Everyone is going to have his or her own way of dealing with issues. Short of doing something reportable or bannable, to each his/her own.
Personally, I believe escalation doesn't solve anything. You can't teach retards anything even by wiping the raid over and over. All you do is allow someone to push you into doing something that you may later come to regret, as there may have been people who were relatively innocent bystanders caught in your shitstorm.
But honestly, you have a right to think otherwise.

They weren't really innocent by voting YES. That seems to be the default choice for any kick vote regardless of what the circumstances are, I've yet to see a kick vote fail.
Yeah. I can understand your frustration because a similar thing has happened to me. The group just refused to go forward with the boss until I had left...which I didn't do.
The best thing to do in those circumstances, is cripple the raid. I.e if they kick your main, just pretend that the others can't do anything without him...so they have a bunch of raid spots that are filled without doing DPS.
The course of action you took I guess I can understand but I plead that others don't copy it. Fighting fire with fire isn't so great when boxers are already thought of as poorly...I can't see how your actions improved our standing in the eyes of people
But you're right, he was a douche the guy who kicked you![]()
