Just as an interesting note on comparing leveling with or without heirloom gear. I got a friend to try mulitboxing this week and once he hit 20 and decided to continue I threw two of my own toons in to our party, one at 16 and one at 18. I put Head, Chest, Back and Shoulders heirloom gear on both of them while my friend doesn't have any. Again my friend was already at 20. By 30 I had passed him and currently he is at 54 and my guys are at 59. The spread would actually be worse since I'm now forced to keep my toons in lower dungeons longer than I would like to. In fact it will be hard to compare them after this point since I will really be slowing down the progression of the team with heirloom gear, focusing on my friends lower level toons. I spent a bit of cash and JP to get 4 sets of cloth gear to allow me to gear any class with a full set. Being able to transfer to any account under my battle.net email was obviously key, I had originaly thought I wouldn't be able to do that. I will say my toons look a little retarded as hunters and pallys running around with the cloth gear on them however it really does make a huge difference and I really dont' care about their gear until they hit 80.
