Melee Characters Boxing?

Hey all!
Since more info made available on the boxing aspects of the game, I would like to ask you a question. Is it possible to box 2 melee chars? Because in this game, skills do not take you up to range to perform them, so the following ( boxed) character cannot perfom melee moves if you do not maneuver the mobs with your main char near your boxes. And the follow range is not close enough to perfom melee attacks. The only way I see is run straight into them with both chars so the position is good enough for both.
Any thoughts?
