Really nice post Vyndree, hope it clears up a lot of issues. The 'Spirit of the game' argument is always one that makes me want to strangle someone..whenever logic or reason is applied to a debate the non-boxers always pull out the 'Spirit of the game' joker from the bottom of the pack.

It's kind of sad to see that after such a clearly-stated post covering just about every angle, someone still manages to come along and try to play off the "for the good of the game" script for all it's worth. The implication being that two people killing bosses in Karazhan somehow cheapens the accomplishment of others who have to go through the arduous task of... get this... finding nine other non-retards to raid with!!!

I wonder what that person would say if I pointed out that my guildies regularly three-man Onyxia for cash...

One time I was having this argument in a thread, when somebody asked me why I wanted to multibox. I thought about laying down the tried-and-true "I'm bored and consider it a new challenge, etc" line, but I was getting sick of the lack of respect, so I said something like "tbh, it gives me an advantage, I have the resources available to avail myself of said advantage, and I make no apologies to you or anyone else for taking it - plus it lets me wtfpwn whiners like you." I honestly expected the sentiment in the thread to sway against me at that point, since I was now not only a cheater, but a mean one too; however, ironically, people were loling and saying stuff like "yeah, I guess if I could do it, I would too". I was kind of surprised.
