Basicly, for those of you too lazy to click the link and scroll down he's saying the following: "Blizzard is contraditcing itself by saying they aren't allowing botting, goldselling, yadayada, because then RL cash would give an advantage, though spending cash on extra accounts and computers is ok". I bought a 1.5k grand computer (or 15000 krones, which is roughly estimated at 1.5k grand in purchusevalue, everything taken into account) and could play at 150 FPS if I'd like and I'm also fortunate to have a 16 mbit/s adsl connection that gives me the average ping of 50( or DID before the "lagreducing patch(es)").

Guess I should be banned, eyh?

Rant aside, thanks a billion Vyn, you just saved me A LOT of explaining. From now on I'll just carry a DND with that link.

There doesn't seem to be anything new there, just organized much better and slightly clearer wording. Maybe 5 is new, but unless wow stops being subscription based it isn't a major issue. 6 could be the first time a gm/blue spoke about it, but the answer was obvious. Even if it was hard to detect, being hard to enforce has never stopped blizzard from making a rule.

Took the liberty of posting this in the most recent multi-boxing thread on the EU forum. Also got a Blue reply:

Quoting this for emphasis - you can consider this to be our official stance on the matter. If a player has paid for 5 accounts, then they are allowed to play with them within our own rules, which also includes the allowance of multi-boxing. A player multi-boxing still needs to maintain and gear up five characters, and it does not matter if they do this all at once or separately. Any gold earned while multi-boxing also would also need to be split between these five characters.

The only thing that's new is clearly stated definition of multiboxing in my original post (people were arguing that blizzard meant for multiboxing to mean alt-tabbing).

Basically, when confronted with legitimate blue posts, people would start arguing semantics ("but the blue didn't SAY that sending one keypress to multiple computers wasn't automation, therefore you're botting"). So I just clarified all of the "gray" areas, not that there were any gray areas for us, but it's awfully hard to nitpick with someone when they claim that you're interpreting the blue post incorrectly.

Therefore, I made a very clear definition of multiboxing and very clear questions, so that there can be no confusion.
