Beast, what does your BH dps spam key look like? I've been trying to tune mine up but can't get it right.

I actually don't DPS spam with my commandos.

Since commandos/mercs have so few abilities I've mostly just keyed them up individually.

I have one key for just grav round.

I have one key that is sort of DPS spammy, it is in order.

Stock Strike
High Impact Bolt
Sticky Grenade
Hammer Shot

I have one key that is just hammer shot.

I have one key that is just full auto.

That essentially covers all my primary DPS abilities. I'll open with 2 grav rounds, then hit my semi spam button to throw HIB. If someone is in my grill I use the DPS spam to stock strike them. For PvE just throwing your hammer shot into your rotation every 3rd or 4th attack seems to work best.

Good read merc, I enjoyed it sadly i'm trying to stick to similar classes for my teams, not up to the task of yet trying to work out a good mixed team like you and riker. I might try in the future Trooper Tank, Smuggler Healer, Consular DPS, Consular DPS, not sure though. I have no problem running the DPS system since I have good xp with sorc dps, nor the healing system, but not sure how a trooper is at tanking. Never really played one past lvl 10.

I just came off leveling a BH, Sorc dps, Sorc dps, Ops healer group to 50. The Trooper and Consular DPS is a match made in heaven. There are so many abilities that lines up together including their AE.

that is good to know, right now i feel over powered in any heroic especially if tank / spank. I know that if you leave a sorc or sniper alone they will dish out extreme punishment, I want to get some videos made soon, I really do love Lost Island in Heroic though.

Just wait til you try out Trooper and Consular DPS. Especially Balance spec'd. You can run in and out of range with a Trooper and for the most part, still hold aggro while the Consular dots mobs and runs around like a chicken.

Losscriss! Are you saying that you've boxed LI HM? If so, please give some details. What was the team and what gear did everyone have when you first cleared it. I just tried to box it with my republic team and I couldn't make it past the first mini boss. My team is almost all columi.
