Default swtor help - warzones and following/targeting/assisting setup

Has anyone figured out how to get a targeting and assisting setup to work in warzones?

I currently made a simple one that uses my naga macro program to target my main window character and then follow then assist (AKA F3 then F7 then F8). Works great in a set group either 3man or 4man. Sucka in warzones and when one guy dies its ruined.

Any suggestions welcome. I love ISBOXER. I may move back to wow or to another game if I cannot figure this out.

    Thanks in advance.

I have been using target shield player instead of anything else for warzone I make myself the shield. It helps allot. I usually am on the def allot so I don't have to move around alot, but when my 4 chars park something like in alderan, no one seems to bother me due to the fact it is annoying to urooot 4 pvp battlemaster sorc's. I have all the characters half both dps tree's so I can spam insta lightning, but my healer also is half heal / dps and so far it works out great. I shield up then zap zap, all heal if needed 1 target, if someone dies I rez at end of battle. Should be a key binding for target shield and all the symbols u can put up.

P.S. It works great for PvE also, I have two click bars setup one for the cc of a shape, that way they will always target it themselves and i won't have to waste the time. Also works good for healing if you want the shapes over your characters heads.

Look at post number #15 on this thread:

I use a system similar to the above link, but I use smaller click bars.

Also this discussion comes up all the time. Try doing a search for follow or auto-follow in swtor.

Macros would be a godsend but after reading the official forums it seems a lot of people are against them.

I have a feeling that we are quite a ways off from getting macros. It is proven successful in WOW so that is our best hope for getting it in SWTOR. I would think that our efficiency would skyrocket if we could take advantage of some simple macros.

as simple macro's could all together make a dps rotation chain much more easier. If we could get some macro's imagine the pvp possibilities also, and maybe a better target / assist system. I have written online, game, and e-mail to bioware about the advantages of these. Currently been trying to write a nice add-on for in game guide type thing. So far bioware updates keep killing it every time grr.
