Thread: 4x blood dk

  1. #1

    Default 4x blood dk

after getting absolutely raped by ferals & rogues on my ele shaman in a random bg, decided to log in my dk (frost/blood), wanted to test out blood after the vengeance changes ...
45k death strikes on a fully ruthless geared pally
full on vengeance after 4 seconds into combat

it's pretty sick (against melee at least)

multiboxing blood dk's seems like at least worth a try ...

    Frost spec'ed blood dks? awesome.

I would like to try blood dks again in PVP, except that I'll be starting with dual-wielding!

I tried them a few weeks ago - since 4.3 had me excited about it.. and they got out-healed and trashed.

I wouldn't mind not killing, if it meant keeping an excessive amount of horde busy fighting my dks and not dying.

Do you run a priority 2 step or a cast sequence?

i don't use anything besides focus / assist macro's when I box, that being said my post was from a solo point of view

anyone tried this yet? 4X Blood DK?

I also want to see if anyone has had luck with feral druids lately. i think 4x bear and a pally healer would be pretty good. especially since you can go bear when you start taking dmg, but go kitty to do that dmg!

They do a lot of healing and have a lot of mitigation, but low DPS and control. It's' not really worth the trade-off.

As I see it, if you're going to take up multiple slots in a BG, you'd better be pulling your weight and killing things. Being super hard to kill and doing loads of self-healing doesn't really help if you can't kill anything unless it stands still for you and all their healers go AFK.

Multiboxers best mitigation tool is killing the stuff that's damaging you.

. . . that being said, it is funny when you run into people that are too stupid to kite you. Bloodworms are good value.

Disc isn't going to be any better from last patch to this one. They're still pretty weak in comparison to other healers. Unless you have amazing peels, you're healer is always going to be their target. Once PS is down your healer is going to be screwed.
