Only dual box needed for pve?

So saw in loading screen tip (musta missed this being mentioned somehow).. that companions count towards group size. And since a party is 4.. that means only need to dual box to have a full group. (though of course a companion wont match up to having a 3rd or 4th toon in dps/heals/ect).

Still though.. just confirming this is correct?

You definitely don't need 4 characters to run Flashpoints at the lowerlevels. no clue about higher levels though.

So for leveling 2 is definitely enough as far as I can tell.

yes, two is enough until end game. Only boxer that has any experance at lvl 50 is Mercbeast ( i think hes the only one ) FPs can be tough with two companions, but doable. One thing i can tell you is that you need to make sure your companions are always geared up if you want to run FPs. Most content you can wait a level or two above the recommended level for that quest/FP to make it easier.

I'm going to run two to 50 and see how I like the end game. If i gear my characters and their companions up and find out i cant run FPs, Ill level two more accounts. But I want to know if I will even like the game at 50 before i invest like that.

heroic FP and operations only allow players, no companions, but for everything else you can dual box.

the lvl 35-45 stuff went smooth like butter. I didnt do any lvl 50 stuff as real life took over

No companions for heroic FP's is confirmed? If so that is annoying. Less options is not good.

At level 50 I ran all the level 50 Flashpoints easily with Mercenary/Op and Mercenary/Mercenary. Up to level 47 I ran all the flashpoints successfully imperial side with Assassin/Op.

As far as I was able to understand but never tried, wth ISBoxer you cannot swap windows. How do you handle it with 4+ windows since they'll be really small? How do you equip, loot with specific toons?

I was swapping windows fine.. I think you can if you stack the windows>.full size>>same resolution. Thats how I was playing.

Thank you mate. Those are good news as I'm thinking more and more about 4 boxing in 1PC Two Monitors configuration.
I was able to dual bo x for a while during weekend Beta and since both were full screen I never had the need to switch but with 4 I'll need it.

So does that mean that Instant swapping is not the same as window swapping?

-Lax would have to chime in on that. I think he was talking about small windows and insta swapping the small ones to the main region. With my stacked screens being the same size and res..I insta swapped and had no issues.
